Pair of handcrafted ceramic wall plates from Deruta, hand-decorated with floral motif, handmade in Italy, perfect condition. Numbering on the back of the plate. Dimensions diam. 26x3h cm approximately. The production of ceramics in Deruta still continues to be one of the main artisan activities in the area. One of the main characteristics of real Deruta ceramics is represented by the uniqueness of the pieces: every single piece is decorated by hand, by the wise and expert hands of decorative artists, following the tradition that has remained unchanged since the Renaissance.
