Item description

Ancient Italian painting from the mid-18th century. Oil on canvas work depicting still life with fruit of good pictorial quality. Painting of beautiful size and proportion, easily placed in different parts of the house, for antique dealers and collectors. Painting adorned with a non-coeval frame, from the 20th century in wood and plaster, sculpted and gilded (Mecca colour). Painting with an almost square shape that extends a few centimeters more horizontally. The perspective chosen by the painter is pleasant and decorative, adding, in addition to the fruit, a beautiful centrepiece, a plate with a decorated edge and a curtain which, continuing on the table, almost divides the work in two (see photo). Painting that has undergone conservative restoration, relining, replacement of the frame and recovery of color in some places (see photo). Overall in good condition. Painting light H 43 x W 49 cm.
