Giant stoup of Saint Michael the Archangel is the warrior angel par excellence. His name comes from the Hebrew Mi-ka-El and means "Who is like God?". Head of the celestial militias, he is celebrated by the Catholic Church on September 29 and is invoked as a defender against the forces of evil, protector of the Church and patron of various categories, including the State Police.
