Item description

Armchair Arpa design chair by Jorgen Hovelskov. Jorgen Hovelskov's Harp Chair is one of the most iconic sculptural forms of Danish modern design. Created in the early 1960s, the chair is inspired by Viking ships, with a curved wooden structure elegant and made by great ebonists hand-tied strings that resemble the strings of a harp. This example is in original condition and very well preserved. The ropes they are firm and clean, which is rare for a piece of this age. The ash frame has a warm, natural patina and features minimal signs of use. It is clear that the chair has been used very little excellent condition
