Splendid antique sofa in Neo-Baroque / Louis Philippe style, dating back to the second half of the nineteenth century. The piece of furniture is characterized by a magnificent upper cymatium finely carved into the wood and by elegant sinuous lines. Condition: The sofa is in excellent condition (as per photos). The wood retains a beautiful original glossy patina and has no structural defects or woodworms. The gold/mustard colored damask fabric is perfectly taut, clean and free of tears or significant wear. Approximate measurements: Height: 128 cm, Depth 58 cm, Width: 177 cm. Notes for collection: The price is slightly negotiable.
