Item description

Description: Antique jewelry box in fine exotic wood with neoclassical motif inlays in gilded bronze. The box has a mixed-line shape defined by rounded corners and slightly concave lines and rests on small spherical feet in gilded bronze placed at the corners. The lid has a central medallion where an oval reserve stands out with a mythological scene in the center where a chariot pulled by horses can be recognised. The front and sides take up the same structure as the lid, presenting allegorical figures along the entire edge. Conditions: Excellent condition. Provenance: Germany, late 19th century. Measurements: 23x17 H10cm. Document: Certificate of Authenticity.
