English bone china tea service Aynsley – England Refined rare tea service in English bone china, produced by the historic Aynsley factory, active in Staffordshire and famous for the quality of the soft porcelain with a high bone ash content, particularly fine, light and translucent. The service includes: n. 4 tea cups with saucers n. 4 matching dessert plates milk jug sugar bowl Homogeneous and consistent service for decoration and finishing. The shapes are elegant and moving, with light flares and volutely curved handles, typical of English production in the second quarter of the twentieth century. The decoration features: Polychrome floral bouquets painted in the center and repeated on the saucers, with pink roses, country flowers and stylized tulips; Upper edge with green lattice background (latex), enriched with scrolls and scrolls in pure gold; Golden threads on edges, handles and feet. The whole combines romantic taste and ornamental setting of neo-rococo origin, according to a decorative figure much appreciated in Aynsley production intended for the British and export market. On the reverse there is a green mark with a crown and the words: AYNSLEY – ENGLAND – BONE CHINA Brand in use in the 20th century; Due to its graphic typology and decorative style, the service probably dates back to between the 40s and 50s of the twentieth century.
