This teak sideboard from the 1960s was made by Skeie & Co. Norheimsund and it is an example of design that combines functionality with a minimalist form. Its slender form, set on tapered legs, four lockable doors (a key is included), and four centrally placed drawers create a composition characteristic of Scandinavian modernism. Recessed handles emphasize the minimalist character of the piece without disrupting the flowing lines of the front.
The sideboard is crafted from teak, valued for its durability, stability, and distinctive grain. The wood's warm color and subtly rounded edges give the piece a calm, timeless look that works well in both mid-century modern-inspired interiors and more contemporary settings.
The piece has been professionally and carefully restored by removing old coatings, staining and finishing with varnish.
