SILVER Seller in Cuneo, Italy
Elegant game table of Louis XVI style and epoch, late 18th century. Made in Turin, it has a drawer with internal compartments and an original lock on the front, which, if leaning against the wall, can turn the piece of furniture into a console. Very beautiful and of great quality as a cabinetry, with walnut, walnut briar and maple veneers. Finished from the center, it has an inlaid chessboard on the top. Open has a top lined with a green cloth surrounded by a walnut veneer band. The 4 solid walnut legs are the classic elegant model from Turin, with a truncated cone with a “bottleneck”. The state of conservation is excellent, original in all its parts.
