An impressive Lykov’s Jewellery ring crafted in 18K white gold. The composition is centred on a large natural tanzanite of an intense blue-violet hue, set in a high open setting. The stone is fashioned in a modified cushion cut and has a stated estimated weight of 10.20 carats.
The broad shank gradually widens towards the centre, creating a distinctive architectural silhouette. The shoulders are embellished with numerous pavé-set round brilliant-cut diamonds. The contrast between the cool lustre of white gold, the brilliance of the diamond-set surfaces and the deep blue colour of the tanzanite enhances the sculptural character of the jewel and reflects the aesthetics of contemporary jewellery design.
The ring is accompanied by an expert report issued by the Gemological Center of Moscow State University on 4 June 2015. According to the report, the central stone is identified as a natural tanzanite measuring 11.9 × 11.36 mm, with an estimated weight of 10.20 carats and VVS clarity. Evidence of heat treatment is noted. The report also confirms 750 gold fineness and a total weight of 12.29 g.
