Item description

This vintage double bed evokes the luxury of the 1970s. The headboard is a striking design statement, featuring wide horizontal bands of gilded brass with a textured finish. These bands include five cylindrical struts in cast bronze or brass, crafted with a distinctive, rough Brutalist "bark" texture, providing a strong tactile and visual contrast. The solid supporting structure of the dark metal bed frame balances the brightness and preciousness of the brass, making this piece a sophisticated and striking icon of Italian Midcentury Modern design. Excellent overall condition. Dimensions: 95 x 203 x 202 cm (H x W x D)
