Louis XVI dresser carved in solid walnut with bronze handle shop, Piedmont, 18th century
Beautiful and rare Piedmontese dresser in Louis XVI style and era, from the end of the 18th century, carved in solid walnut with larch wood interiors. The three large drawers have bronze handles and nozzles; The keyholes are only ornamental because the furniture was born without locks. The top, original like the whole dresser, is in walnut. What makes it unusual and very elegant this piece, in addition to the "Pan Coupe" upper part of the front with grooves, are the paneling of the hips and drawers, decorated with a classic Louis XVI style design. Rare are also the crosspieces and all three panels. The state of conservation of the dresser is great and it has very nice patina.
