The stunning and iconic Italian-designed "Capriccio" armchair, designed by Georg Bighinello and produced by the historic Eurosalotto (Pedrina) company in the 1970s, represents the pinnacle of Space Age style and the enveloping comfort typical of Italian modernism from that decade. The armchair stands out for its soft, sculptural lines, embellished with the famous and intricate ruffled/crushed velvet workmanship on the armrests and backrest, a highly sophisticated couture technique that lends a strong visual impact and unparalleled comfort. The shell rests on its original molded plastic base, featuring an embedded design mark.
