Item description
Original and valuable Austrian table in walnut briar, was made between 1929 and 1932 in a small carpenter's workshop in Abtenau, an Austrian town in the district of Hallein near Salzburg. Very special is the entire structure of the table, the two side panels that support the top are elegantly connected in the lower part to a truly original and unique base, rarely have we found this ingenious and sophisticated solution in other similar tables, beautiful and fascinating is the top made of walnut briar of exceptional quality, quality enhanced by unique and special processing: the lastronatura. This technique has allowed us to enhance the colors and the flaming of the walnut root giving this table elegance and unique and exclusive refinement. The object has been treated by hand with ancient restoration techniques by a team of craftsmen and is in excellent condition.
