He exhibited in the most important private galleries and museums in the world. In 1947 he was one of the signatories of the Gruppo Forma 1 manifesto, together with Attardi, Accardi, Consagra, Dorazio, Guerrini, Sanfilippo and Turcato. In those same years he travelled extensively and in Paris came into contact with Arp, Picabia and Magnelli. He joined MAC (Movimento Arte Concreta) promoted by Soldati, Munari, Monnet, Dorfles and curated an exhibition on Abstract Art with Ettore Sottsass. In the early 1950s he stayed in Paris. In the 1950s he was among the real promoters of the affirmation of abstract art in Italy, organising and taking part in some of the most important exhibitions. Over the years he has exhibited at several Venice Biennials (1962, 1968), at private gallery shows in Los Angeles, New York, London and Zurich (thanks above all to his collaboration with the Marlborough Gallery).
