Iconic and particular statuette in cast bronze with wooden base, depicts a young gymnast who performs an exercise with harmony and plasticity supporting a long stick with lightness similar to a spear. Is a young modern gymnast, with clothing, hairstyle and face to fashion futurist, very well represented the body full of a slender grace elegant and composed. The shaped base is made of wood while the underlying part is covered with red fabric. The artist was inspired by the principles of Art Dèco, which exalted the elongated, agile, and athletic forms of both male and female bodies. It was made between 1925 and 1930 with beautiful bronze statuary cast in a small artisan workshop in Val D'Osne. On the statuette is imprinted the signature of the artist, but unfortunately is barely legible.
