Item description
Elegant Napoleon III centre desk, supported on curved legs. In the moulded band a drawer with sliding compartments and inlaid lids. Sliding top with leather inlay. The front elevation is moved, the sides have four drawers and a splashback with mirror and shelf. Finely inlaid playing with the contrast between rosewood and bois de rose. Embellished with bronze friezes and frames. Made in France, second half of the 19th century.
