Item description

Exceptional and important transparent lead crystal table centerpiece. The shape, rich of soft curves and rounded ends, fascinates us for its incomparable and elegant plasticity and lightness. The Master craftsmen have succeeded in making the massive crystal block, delicate almost vaporous by pulling it by torsion, working it with pliers and shaping it by hand. Under the base has been acid etched the brand of the manufacturer and from it, we can say that this refined and sculptural centerpiece in the clear crystal was produced between 1965 and 1968 by the famous glassworks Vannes-le-Chatel in the homonymous town in Lorraine, the Grand Est area of France, the home of crystal and glass.
