Item description
An iron cast round metal plate attributed to Elkington & co., it has been made on the manner of Francois Briot ( 1550-1616 ) famous French manufacturer. It's decorated in relief with figures, flowers and cartouches. A similar sterling silver mural plate it was been created by Elkington in 1854 to be given as woman's Wimbledon Trophy.
