Item description

The table is made of walnut wood and can be closed with a lock. On the top there is a beautiful intaglio depicting a scene of Chinese imperial life with the title 'Chinese Imperial Court in Peking'. The intaglio comes from the Collection des prospects around the 18th-19th century. The Collection des prospects are intaglio prints depicting scenes of everyday life in perspective. The intaglio is printed on the coffee table.
