A modern Scandinavian teak wall cabinet with an Ergo 2-compartment modular shelving system, designed by John Texmon and Einar Blindheim for Blindheim Mobelfabrikk and manufactured in Norway in the 1960s. The slightly curved edges give a warm impression and the sculptural rails create an elegant and impressive structure. This shelving system includes: A wardrobe with 4 drawers and sliding door H: 42cm / W: 79cm / D: 34cm, internal height of drawers 10cm. A desk with 2 drawers H: 17cm / W: 79cm / D: 41cm. One compartment with glass door H: 34cm / W: 79cm / D: 22cm. One shelf 21cm deep. Two shelves 30 cm deep. One shelf 21 cm deep and 14 cm high. Three teak rail-mounted legs 203 cm high. Brass hardware. The wall unit is in very good vintage condition with slight traces of use. Made in Norway stamp on the back of the cabinet. It is not necessary but recommended to secure the wall unit against the wall.
