We bought the vase and other goods in the dusty warehouse of a small artisan furnace on the island of Murano in the area "Fondamenta dei Vetrai" near the Church of San Piero Martire, where the owners, two old brothers, very skilled glassmakers, assured us that the vase was part of a series of vases created between 1970 and 1974.
