Maple and elm root bar cabinet, 1930s
Elegant and functional maple and elm briar cabinet, in the generous carved base houses the support of the cabinet that is made of waves typical of Osvaldo Borsani. The bar on the front has two curved side doors near the sides with total hinge for length that gives the possibility of convenient opening at 180 degrees, on the other side hinges for opening under and above. In the centre is the sliding door of the bar with a concealed hinge on the non-invasive inlaid front of the tropical landscape. The interior is covered with mirrors worked with different themes, in the coffin stands out a pegasus, the inner top is in emerald green opaline glass. The top of the cabinet is round.
