Item description

English Victorian game table, second quarter of the 19th century. Rosewood veneer, top and under-top podded band. The top can be folded open and has a felt insert. Central beech baluster finely carved with leafy tufts and ending with pods. Shaped supporting base carved at the ends with acanthus leaves and whorls, resting on four caster feet.
