The Tonietta chair was produced in the mid-1980s in Italy by Zanotta. The product is the result of a collaboration between designer Enzo Mari and the Zanotta company, a leading manufacturer of designer furniture. The frame of this elegant chair is made of die-cast aluminium with a seat and back covered in imitation leather. In 1987 the Tonietta chair won the prestigious Compasso d'Oro award.
