Item description

Colour print by Milanese painter Giannino Grossi (1889-1969) made in 1933 depicting the castle of Peschiera Borromeo. Built by the noble Borromeo family in the 15th century, this castle, with its iconic moat, is the oldest of the Borromeo's Lombard possessions. Pictured is the main entrance to the manor with its iconic entrance tower.
