Item description

Capuchin-style secrétaire from the late 19th century. Made of oak and veneered with walnut burl, it has four drawers, one of them is in the under-top groove, and a drop-leaf door containing maple-root architectural scarab with drawers and open compartment. The top of the door is upholstered in morocco.
