French table made of steam-bent beech wood; the round top with an elegant high edge rests on a sturdy base made up of four elements with soft shapes that hold the top on the table and form a solid support for the entire table in the lower part. This table has an exceptional versatility, in fact, thanks to an ingenious metal mechanism, it can be extended with a crossbar, or to have even more space you can add another crossbar, and the small round table turns into a large dining table. for many guests. The whole construction is of high quality, the structure, the wood of which has been steam bent, has pleasant rounded shapes with a surprising organic design that matches the furniture design fashion of the 60s with an expressive and innovative style. It was created between 1964 and 1968 by the Baumann Manufacture with beech wood from the forests of Colombier-Fontaine (France). The Baumann Manufacture was one of the most important French companies in the furniture market, especially chairs, of the 20th century. The table has been restored and is in excellent condition.
