PLATINUM Seller in Milano, Italia
A rare armchair from the 1970s made of painted metal and cotton, designed by LO Design for the Italian company Elam. The armchair has a very unusual structure: there are in fact two unique feet, one at the front and one at the back. The front one is a tubular band of black painted metal that curves downwards, giving a very modern effect. The rear one, on the other hand, is a very thick cylindrical tubular structure in black painted metal. From the rear foot in the centre starts a narrower tubular structure on which rests another identical structure, perpendicular to the last. The structures are covered with a thin layer of strong cotton on which two very large and soft cushions, also lined in white cotton, are placed. The armchair is suitable for both modern and vintage settings, if matched correctly. The armchair is in good original condition with minor scratches and light wear, consistent with age and use. Original fabric.
