Desk designed in the 1960s by Studio BBPR for Olivetti Synthesis. The desk is complete with a swivelling dactyl and is equipped with a triple drawer unit with a working lock and a five-drawer dactyl. The extraordinarily well-preserved condition enhances the beauty of this historic office piece of furniture, which holds an important place in the history of design. The dactyl, as seen in the last photographs, can be removed from the desk. BBPR was the abbreviation for the group of Italian architects who designed the Spazio series of office furniture for Olivetti Syntesis in the early 1960s.
