Metal chandelier with up-and-down mechanism by Oscar Torlasco for Lumi, Italy 1960s. Oscar Torlasco (1934-2004) was a designer of the 1950s and 1960s in Italy. In 1959 he won the Italian Design Compasso d'Oro award for his street lamp 'Genova 4053'. The optical lenses shown in his lamps are his special feature. Torlasco designed for light bulb companies in Italy, such as Lumi and Stilkronen. The lamp is in very good condition, as can be seen from the enclosed photos. It bears slight and negligible traces of time and use, a few marks on the metal. Please assess through the photos. Min. length 120 cm, Ø 44 cm.
