Item description
Finely chiseled gilt bronze Empire table clock, made in France in the 1820s-30s. The object celebrates Charles X: on the left he is depicted in the clothes of his time, on the right with armor, shield and sword. The base is decorated with allegorical scenes relating to the king's life. Porcelain dial with Roman numerals; in the center is the signature "Maniere." Clock equipped with key and pendulum. Fully functioning mechanism.
