PLATINUM Seller in Milano, Italia
A splendid patinated bronze chandelier designed by the great Gio Ponti in the 1930s, of fine Italian manufacture. The chandelier is made entirely of brass with a beautiful patina. The structure develops entirely in length. The rosette at the top is made entirely of bronze and has a semi-sphere shape. Below is an hourglass structure decorated in the shape of a leaf. From this spring five slender tubular structures, which are attached to a brass circle, hidden by the lights. Before these curved structures, triangular mirror structures are inserted. Beneath the round structure arise eight sinuous structures, each holding a brass horn, very elegant. Each can support one light. From these sinuous structures descend other tubular structures, with frosted glass triangles in the centre, which close with a rosette and a bronze sphere, very beautiful. The chandelier as you can see is very unusual and very beautiful; its identical wall sconce completes it. The chandelier is suitable for areas of renowned importance.
