A beautiful and unusual walnut-root sideboard, dating from the 1930s, attributed to the great designer Osvaldo Borsani. The sideboard is made entirely of beautiful walnut-root, which boasts very scenic and striking grain. This contributes to making the product even more beautiful than it already is. The base has a rather geometric and rectangular shape. The base is raised; on the right side is a closed drawer that can be opened by a round brass knob. Above this drawer is a very attractive compartment that can be opened by a cylindrical wooden handle. On the left side, on the other hand, there are two shelves that create three small compartments, useful and arranged for the display of books or small important and noteworthy objects. At the top we see a long, polished top with beautiful grain. At the back we see a rectangular wooden panel rising, with a very elegant central basin. In this panel there are shelves integrated into the structure, also suitable for display. This sideboard is truly fabulous, suitable for any mid-century environment. Similar example published in the book Osvaldo Borsani edited by Giuliana Gramigna and Fulvio Irace - Leonardo, De Luca Editori on page 106.
