SILVER Seller in Macerata, Italy
Prestigious walnut serving sideboard with inlays that decorate the cabinet with elegance. It has a shaped form, the lower part is characterised by three doors framed by turned columns with rounded, bevelled mirrors. Above the two drawers with brass handles and inlaid fronts support a top composed of two higher areas in walnut and a lower central part in red Verona marble. The whole is accompanied by a half-moon shaped mirror embellished on the right and left with two small oval bevelled mirrors with a small shelf below. France, mid-19th century. The piece of furniture is in excellent, usable condition, however it shows signs of wear and tear and time, restored about thirty years ago. Measurements H cm 190 x W cm 152 x D cm 43.
