Antique Italian painting from the 18th century. Oil on canvas painting depicting a religious subject of Charity, by an excellent painterly hand. Painting depicting Saint Rita of Cascia in ecstasy on the right supported by an angel with a crucifix (see photo). On the left a Saint with a crosier gives alms to some needy people (see photo). A painting of great size and excellent luminosity, for antique dealers, interior decorators and collectors of antique sacred art. Painting adorned with a simple modern gilded frame in wood and plaster. Work that has undergone conservation restoration, re-staining, frame replacement and colour restoration in places (see photo). Painting in overall good condition. Light painting H 160.5 x W 159 cm.
