Item description
Three-drawer chest of drawers with frame panelled in exotic woods and inlaid with precious woods surmounted by a marble top. The front is punctuated by two larger drawers arranged on two rails, both of which are graphically underlined by a bronze threading with a tuia burl in the centre, while a smaller drawer characterises the under-shelf band. The cabriolet feet are embellished with a beautiful, finely chiselled gilded bronze garniture and are connected by a mixed apron, also made of precious wood. Restored by our master craftsmen using the traditional handmade shellac and alcohol method. Provenance: late 19th century France. Measurements: 112 x 54 cm, H 81 cm. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. We are at your disposal for further clarifications or photographic details.
