A pretty set of six wooden chairs designed in the 1950s, of fine Italian manufacture. The structure of the chairs is linear, with four load-bearing, pointed legs, while the backrest is straight with a slightly curved cut of the wood. The chairs are made entirely of light wood in the frame, while the seat is made of dark green leather. The seat and backrest are connected: in fact, the leather upholstery rises from the seat to the centre of the backrest, giving the seat a unique touch. The leather is attached to the frame by means of round brass studs in a typically vintage patina. Another special feature of the chair is the shape of the upper part of the backrest, which sees the woodwork at either end create two soft indentations, while the central part descends more, creating a beautiful ornament. The shape of the seat of the chair is also particular, as towards the outside it becomes more pointed and the wood becomes thinner, while going towards the centre of the seat the wood is thicker and reinforced. The chairs are very beautiful and are ideal for furnishing vintage dining rooms or important tables.
