Item description

Cobalt blue and gold with two cartouches on the lid, each with a winged cherub and a dove, signed E. Froger. Openwork bronze strap with handles, attached to the base of the bowl which is housed in a bronze base. Marks of Sevres inside the lid and on the bottom of the base. E. Froger was an accomplished painter who decorated glass and porcelain pieces for Sevres.
