Group of four settees supported by truncated pyramid legs, the front ones having feet in the form of feral paws. The uprights of the armrests are carved with griffin features, the lion bust is lacquered with imitation burnishing, in search of a bronze effect; the wings are carved and gilded. On the head of the griffon rests the curl of the wavy armrest, within which is carved a rosette, also gilded. Made of walnut panelled in cherry, the armrest
is made of solid cherry wood and has a wrought iron reinforcement underneath. The seat and backrest are upholstered.
