Item description
Murano glass vase made by the French manufactory Daum (Nancy) in the 1950s. Flattened oval-shaped body in transparent glass; at the base it seems that the effect of water has been recreated, very elegant and particular. The body then narrows and welcomes the cap, a real decorative element: it has a transparent glass base, so that once inserted you cannot see it, and a gilded metal ring structure around which an orange resin monkey clings; this last one remains on the left side, holding onto the ring with one paw, while the rear ones and the tail are clinging to a branch of the same material and colour.
