Elegant pair of Adrian Pearsall armchairs from the 1950s. The couple is part of a duet called: Lui e Lei, in fact the different dimensions of the couple are indicated. The tallest armchair of the 1950s was intended for men, while the lowest one for women. Both are upholstered in an elegant burgundy-purple velvet.
Note the rear feet curved inwards, while the front ones have the typical shape of the 1950s, i.e. conical in wood. Both armchairs have two seat cushions and two back cushions, both with button tufting.
The backrests have a soft shape in which the armrest is one with the backrest structure.
