Pair of rattan, bamboo and malacca armchairs by Tito Agnoli for Bonacina, 1960s.
Agnoli was born in Lima in 1931 into an Italian family; he died in Milan in 2012. First an architect and then a designer, he collaborated with many Italian companies, including Bonacina 1889. Some of his pieces are in the permanent collection of MoMA in New York. Bonacina 1889 is a brand synonymous with tradition and craftsmanship; each piece is handmade by skilled artisans who, with care and experience, bend rush reeds to create unique shapes.
