Sideboard by Galleria Mobili d'Arte di Cantù, 1950s. Wooden structure, brass keys and feet. Consisting of three front drawers and three compartments (two large and one small) closed by doors.
Commissioned by S. Apollonia Srl, Galleria Mobili d'Arte is the first of the new exhibition buildings designed to house furniture made by the artisan workshops of Cantù.
Built with a traditional reinforced concrete and masonry structure, the building is characterized by low windows running along all sides, giving it a strong horizontal character, and by the curvilinear angle interrupted by the large staircase window. The building itself has recently been renovated, with changes to the exterior as well.
