Item description

French Napoleon III showcase in exotic precious wood belonging to the second half of the 19th century. The front is characterised by a large glass door with a wooden part underneath with a floral inlay in the centre. Both the front and the sides have a curvilinear design and are characterised by the presence of coeval convex glass panes surrounded by bronze mouldings. The two cantons are embellished with gilded bronze elements and end with cabriolet feet covered with elements also in bronze. A mixtilinear apron connects the feet and is enriched by the presence of a gilded bronze cymatium. Provenance France (1860/70). In good condition. Measurements: 85 x 50 cm, H 167 cm.
