Item description

Napoleon III writing desk by Maison Krieger Paris, made in France in the 19th century. Engraved signature "Krieger Paris" on the lock plate inside the drawer. Excellently crafted piece of furniture with carved solid mahogany structure, brass and gilt bronze finishes, brass feet and sliding shutter finishes also made of brass. This last one slides automatically with the opening of the drawer. There are original double keys for closing the drawer lock.
