Elegant and refined pair of armchairs. The solid structure is made of wood, the legs are painted black; the seat is wide and comfortable also thanks to the particular shape of the two large armrests. They were made between 1960 and 1965 between Meda and Mariano Comense in Brianza, a prolific industrial and artisanal area of Lombardy, where there is a high production of design furniture made with great skill. The armchairs have been restored and upholstered with Designer Guild's iconic and sophisticated velvet with a geometric cut and interlocking lines "Janneret" motif; one of the company's most popular fabrics (see original photo of the brand set). The entire work was handcrafted with skill and precision by an old master craftsman from Prato (Italy). We remind you that the city of Prato is considered the largest textile center in the world, its artisans and highly specialized companies are a point of reference for creativity, quality and excellence. Designers Guild, founded in 1970 by Tricia Guild, is an international home and lifestyle company, with headquarters and showrooms in London's Kings Road and Marylebone High Street and own stores around the world. It creates fabrics and wallpapers of great decorative impact in which color and classicism are reinvented and reinterpreted in a contemporary key. Seat height: 43 cm.
