Teak bookcase with pull-out writing desk made in Denmark in the 1960s. Excellent for creating a study/work station at home. It is a fantastic example of high quality mid-century Danish joinery combined with elegance and functionalism. It is composed of three shelves, two of which are adjustable, and a cabinet with sliding doors and four drawers; the two drawers and a series of compartments placed under an adjustable shelf combined with the extractable top contribute to creating a compact and functional desk. The piece of furniture rests on tapered legs in solid oak, which enhance its Scandinavian origin. This bookcase is made of teak veneer with solid teak and solid oak details. It has been checked: doors and drawers work properly; the wood has been rejuvenated with layers of Danish oil. The desk top has a couple of superficial scratches; they are not visible when it is closed, they are visible when it is open. Excellent vintage condition with slight traces of use. The open top is 73 cm high, 116 cm wide and 64 cm deep. Drawer height: 7 cm. Height of small drawers: 4.5 cm. Leg height: 22 cm.
