Pair of Bonanza armchairs by Esko Pajamies for Asko, 1960s. Beautiful combination of black leather and light wood structure. The armchairs show minimal signs of wear of the leather, which is thick, soft and elastic. The wooden structures are in perfect condition. The upholstery straps on both seats have been replaced to provide an optimal seating experience. Seat height: 43 cm. Seat depth: 52 cm.
Finnish designer Esko Pajamies designed this armchair for Asko Finland in the 1960s, creating a classic design. Finnish furniture manufacturer Asko was founded in 1919 and made a name for itself in the 1960s and 1970s by collaborating with high-profile designers and offering innovative designs.
