Round serving dish, Paola model with garland decoration. Diameter 29 cm. A great Richard Ginori success of the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s is the Paola service, produced in earthenware first in Mondovì and then in Laveno. The design of the shape with its soft, casual lines is perhaps attributable to Cesare Lacca, to whom we owe one of the first decorations created for this service, with views of houses on Capri. Later, the Paola shape was combined mainly with floral decorations vibrant with colour, ideal for seaside and country houses or for more informal everyday use.
